What is Sound Healing?

Sound healing is a natural and gentle remedy to bring the body into balance. The sound frequencies experienced in sound healing slow down brainwaves to a restorative state, which activates the body's self-healing system. Similar to the way a tuning fork adjusts an instrument to harmonic resonance, this sonic attunement calibrates the body to homeostasis. During a sound journey, a sound practitioner(s) will administer a variety of sounds through instruments and voice to awaken, attune, and activate participants to their most authentic and natural states.

what to expect

Marigodmother's signature sound experiences take participants on a journey through the elements with movement, breath, and voice activation against an acoustic symphony.

The journey is about 1.5 hours in total. Participants typically lay down for the journey in order to receive the highest healing and expansion possible.

After the sound journey, attendees will be guided out of the experience with an opportunity to share and ask questions at the end.

Individuals may experience creative unlocks, intuitive messages, visuals and colors, or lovely restful sleep.

Preparing for a Sound Journey

  Arrive with an open mind and open heart

Bring a yoga mat, blanket, eye mask, small pillow for comfort (we will be lying on the floor)

  Dress in comfortable layers in case of temperature fluctuations

  Eat a full meal 2 hours before, or a light snack if closer to start time
